Refund Policy for Shiyi
This Refund Policy applies to paid memberships, subscriptions, credit add-ons, and other paid entitlements purchased through the Shiyi website, browser extension, or payment channels designated by us.
We want your purchase experience to be clear and reliable. If you have a question about an order or need to request a refund, please follow the instructions below within the applicable time period.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to paid digital services and entitlements provided by Shiyi, including:
- Membership services, subscription services, or membership periods;
- Credit add-ons, additional usage quotas, redeemed entitlements, or account benefits;
- Related paid orders completed through the website, extension, order page, or a designated payment service provider.
If a product page, order page, or applicable law grants you stronger refund, cancellation, or withdrawal rights, the higher standard will apply.
2. 48-Hour Refund Request Window
You may request a refund within 48 hours from the successful payment time. We will review the request based on the order status, entitlement usage, account security records, and applicable law.
To help us verify your order, please contact us using the account, email address, or payment evidence associated with your purchase whenever possible.
3. How to Request a Refund
Please email alex@shiyiai.cc within 48 hours after successful payment and include the following information:
- Your Shiyi account, registered email address, or information that can identify your account;
- Order number, payment receipt, payment time, or transaction ID from the payment service provider;
- The product or entitlement you purchased;
- The reason for the refund request and the issue you would like us to review.
If your order is processed by a third-party payment service provider, you may also use the support link in your confirmation email, receipt page, billing page, or the provider’s refund support channel.
4. Review, Processing, and Settlement Time
After receiving a complete refund request, we usually complete the initial review within 3 business days. Processing may take longer if order information is incomplete, payment-channel verification is required, risk review is needed, or holidays affect processing.
If a refund is approved, we will try to return the funds to the original payment method. The actual settlement time depends on your bank, card issuer, wallet, payment service provider, and regional processing rules.
If the original payment method cannot receive the refund, we will work with you to confirm a reasonable alternative where available.
5. Entitlement Changes After a Refund
After a refund is approved, the membership, subscription, credits, add-ons, downloads, exports, or other paid entitlements related to the refunded order will be stopped, revoked, deducted, or adjusted.
If the related credits or entitlements have already been used, we may deduct the corresponding value from the refund amount, account balance, or future entitlements. If the used value cannot be recovered, the refund may be declined or approved only in part.
6. Cases Where Refunds May Not Be Available
Unless required by applicable law, refunds may not be available, or may only be available in part, in the following cases:
- The request is submitted more than 48 hours after successful payment;
- Credits, quotas, or service entitlements have been materially consumed, delivered, or used;
- The order involves abnormal requests, abuse, fraud, stolen payment credentials, violation of the Terms of Service, or attempts to bypass risk controls;
- The issue is caused by your violation of third-party platform rules, browser restrictions, account status, or network environment, and is not caused by a defect in the Shiyi service itself;
- You have already initiated a payment dispute, chargeback, refund abuse pattern, or duplicate request for the same order.
If you experience a persistent technical issue that prevents normal use and we cannot reasonably help resolve it, you may still contact us. We will review the specific issue, order records, and applicable law.
7. Subscription Cancellation and Future Billing
If your order is a subscription service, you may cancel the subscription through your account page, billing page, or the cancellation channel provided by the payment service provider to prevent future recurring charges.
Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically refund the current billing period. To request a refund, please submit the request within 48 hours after successful payment under this Policy.
